Ivan Scodeller, Ph.D.
Ivan Scodeller, Ph.D., has a background in organic chemistry, critical data analysis, and polymer chemistry. He provides technical and scientific support to Keller and Heckman attorneys and their clients in determining the regulatory status of food packaging materials in the European Union (EU), Member States, and jurisdictions around the world.
Ivan prepares test protocols for migration testing in support of dossiers and opinion letters and assists in the preparation of petitions to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and EU national authorities, such as the Dutch Committee for Safety Assessment of Food Contact Materials (CBVV) and the German Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung (BfR). He also advises on environmental issues, including those related to recycling processing and recycled food contact materials.
