Keller and Heckman’s Food and Drug Practice Awarded Highest Ranking

For the ninth consecutive year, Chambers USA has ranked Keller and Heckman’s Food and Drug practice as a Band 1 firm in the Food and Beverages: Regulatory & Litigation – Nationwide category. Keller and Heckman was one of only five firms to attain the Band 1 position. Additionally, Partners Devon Wm. Hill, Richard (Rick) Mann, and Evangelia (Eve) Pelonis all maintained their competitive individual rankings. Devon received an individual Band 3 ranking, while Rick and Eve received individual Band 4 rankings.

Keller and Heckman’s globally-recognized Food and Drug practice provides clients with comprehensive legal and regulatory advice for a broad range of food and drug products, including food and drug packaging, in addition to foods, alternative proteins, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, veterinary products, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and cannabis products. In 1971, Keller and Heckman pioneered the model of law and science. Today, the firm has more than 20 in-house scientific and technical experts (primarily chemists and toxicologists) collaborating with our attorneys.

With respect to the individual rankings, Devon’s practice focuses on the regulatory aspects of the global marketing of new foods, cosmetics, packaging, and related products, along with compliance issues for products already on the market. Rick’s practice is focused on food advertising, promotional and labeling claims, as well as food safety and compliance issues, and Eve’s practice is focused on matters relating to food labeling, food safety, animal feed, food additives and ingredients, and dietary supplements.

Chambers and Partners relies on extensive client feedback, in addition to robust independent research, to determine its rankings. Both practices and independent attorneys are ranked based on effectiveness and achievements, experience, and value delivered to clients.
